OUR CHAIR
Low Li Qun
Li Qun is an accomplished legal professional specializing in Intellectual Property, Information Technology, and Data Protection, with extensive experience in both litigation and advisory roles. Alongside her legal career, she has been a dedicated Rotaractor, committed to youth leadership and community service.
Her Rotaract journey began as President of the Rotaract Club of ATC in Rotary Year 2014-15, where she spearheaded impactful initiatives aimed at supporting marginalized communities. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Rotaract Club of Ampang, consistently taking on key leadership roles, including District Rotaract Representative for Rotary International District 3800 in 2020-21, Secretary in 2021-22, and Finance Director in 2022-23. Li Qun is currently Chair-Elect for Rotary Year 2023-24 and will serve as Chairperson in 2024-25 at the Asia Pacific Rotaract MDIO.
Her dedication to service and leadership continues to drive meaningful social welfare programs and the development of young leaders within the Rotaract community.
The MDIO Chair coordinates all activities and programs of the MDIO. He presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee as well as the annual meeting. He also maintains regular communication with the member districts, covered zones, and Rotary International.
